Survey 1 - World Athletics CARES (Childbirth And Return in Elite Sport) Research |
WELCOME!
Thank you for taking the time to participate in this survey.
This survey is conducted by World Athletics as a collaboration between the Health and Science and Competition Departments.
The purpose is to better understand pregnancy, childbirth, and the return-to-sport among elite female athletes in Athletics.
In particular, we seek to explore the timing of return-to-sport after childbirth, the perceived barriers and facilitators, and the broader organisational and ranking-related context.
The information collected will contribute to generating evidence that can inform future policies and support systems for female athletes.
The survey includes 6 sections and the estimated completion time is less than 15 minutes.
