Dear participant,
Thank you for taking the time to participate in this survey. Your insights are important for validating the drafted policy and research recommendations developed within the SETO project, financed by the European Union under the Horizon Europe Programme. SETO aims to create a digital platform for collecting and integrating relevant data to support more efficient transportation enforcement procedures. SETO also endeavours to ensuring that both the technologies developed within the project and their potential large-scale application follow a path which contributes to relevant social sustainability goals, such as better working conditions and higher road safety.

The SETO project (ID 101103695) started on 1 June 2023 and will end on 31 May 2026.

The contacts you share to stay updated on the project will not, in any way, be linked to the previous responses regarding the recommendations. Privacy notice

This survey is conducted as part of the SETO project (Horizon Europe Programme, grant no. 101103695). The processing of personal data complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable national laws.

1. Data controller
The data controller for this survey is the Institute of International Sociology of Gorizia (ISIG), responsible for ensuring your data is handled securely and appropriately.

2. Purpose and legal basis of data processing
The collected data will be used for research purposes to validate SETO's policy and research recommendations.

3. Data collection and platform
The survey is hosted on the SurveyMonkey platform, which processes and stores data on servers located in EU. SurveyMonkey adheres to GDPR requirements, ensuring secure and compliant data handling. You can find more details in SurveyMonkey’s Privacy Policy here.
Once the data collection period is complete, all data will be deleted from SurveyMonkey and securely transferred to ISIG’s servers for continued storage and analysis. ISIG servers comply with GDPR standards to ensure the confidentiality and security of your responses.


4. Data anonymity
Your responses will remain anonymous, ensuring your privacy throughout the research process. The contacts shared to stay updated on the project will not, in any way, be linked to the previous responses regarding the recommendations.

5. Data storage and security
Data will initially be stored on SurveyMonkey’s GDPR-compliant servers during the data collection period. Following this, all data will be securely transferred to ISIG’s servers, where it will be stored under strict security measures and accessible only to authorized personnel involved in the SETO project. Anonymized data may be shared with project partners or included in project-related publications.

6. Rights of participants
You have the right to:

- Access your data.
- Request rectification or deletion of your data.
- Withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the legality of processing based on prior consent.

7. Duration of data retention
Data will be retained until the end of the SETO project, after which it will be securely deleted.

8. Supervisory authority and complaints
