Survey Title: AI Use in Further and Higher Education: Student Survey

Purpose: Academic Research / Policy Mapping
1. Nature of the Study
You are invited to participate in a survey aimed at mapping the current landscape of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the further and higher educational sector of Malta. The results will be used to inform policy and identify resource gaps.
2. Data Collection and Anonymity
No Personal Data: This survey is designed to be anonymous. We do not ask for your name, email, date of birth, or any other direct identifiers.
Technical Data: To further protect your privacy, we have disabled the collection of IP addresses within our survey tool.
Aggregated Reporting: Data will be analysed and reported in an aggregated format only. No individual response will be singled out in any publication.
3. Voluntary Participation
Participation is entirely voluntary. You may refuse to take part, or stop the survey at any time before submission, without any negative consequences.
4. Data Storage and Retention
The anonymised data will be stored securely on EU-based server and will be retained for 5 years to support the validity of the research findings.
5. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to be informed about how your data is used. Because the data is collected anonymously, once you submit your response, we will be unable to identify, retrieve, or delete your specific data entry should you change your mind later.
